The volunteer programme is significant to the Centres as it works with professionals, corporate sponsors and people of the community to ensure that we develop a network of developmental support for our programmes and activities.
It is essential that our young people meet and interact with people who will be positive influences in their life; encourage them and participate in their learning and growth. It is important that we work with others who support our mission and who would serve as guides and teachers for our young people.

Recognising the importance of ensuring the safety of our young people, all volunteers to our programme need to provide references. You can also ask about the mentorship programme at each of our Centres.
YOUCan become a Mentor!
The mentorship programme is significant to the Centre as it works with professionals, corporate sponsors and people of the community to ensure that we develop a network of developmental support for our programmes and activities. Mentorship is particular in this regard as it becomes a significant relationship for young people to have a preferred relationship that focuses on them, their needs and their goals.
It is Important that:
We work with others who support our mission and who would serve as guides and teachers for our young people
Mentors be responsible for the safety of residents when off the premises
Mentors commit to the relationship for at least one year
In the case of serious difficulties or a breach in the relationship that mentors feel free to share their concerns with the Centres Co-ordinator
