SOPHIA House is placed under the protection of Sophia which is Greek for God’s Wisdom.

Scripture tells us . . .
Sophia is the Wisdom of God
who helps us to see things as God sees them.
She makes us friends of God.
She is our comfort in times of care and sorrow, and
she strengthens, heals and wakens mighty hope.
She inspires human creativity and joy.
Hers is the power of people-making among
those diminished by pain who do not know their own dignity.
She guides our undertakings and is the Spirit of God
directly present and active in our world.
